"It's Here, It's Real, but what exactly are you going to do about it?"
Gonna play some games, including exclusive games, that sport the highest graphical fidelity ever seen on consoles (and the vast majority of PCs too). Have fun replaying Recore over and over...LOL
Glad to hear that. Here's hoping they can work something out with Sony.
I think you can already do that by way of linking your PSN account to your Facebook account, then the photo you have on your FB account becomes your avatar on the PS4. As for wallpapers, can't you just display your own pics in the background?
edit @ nitus10
What makes you think you have to give information? You just create a FB account et voilà. No need to reveal anything personal.
Except the Xbox Scorpio won't have 143% the performance of the PS4 Pro dude, a 100% increase would mean double the power, and the Scorpio's 6 TFLOPS aren't double the power of the Pro's 4.2 TFLOPS. So 143% increase? Nope.
edit: LOL, I thought you were talking in terms of increase, my bad, I must've misread. You're right then. Chill.
Can't you see the correlation? Sony unveils the PS4 PRO, the most powerful console ever, with plenty of exclusives to boot, when they're already leading in sales, and just out of the blue the press (well, certain websites) go berserk and attack Sony?
Who could have reasons to be worried by the PS4 Pro...?
Hint: it's not Starbucks Coffee. Nor Apple. Or General Motors.
I knew right from the get-go when I read that post on Bethesda's website that there was more to it than just Sony refusing for no reason. They allowed mods last gen for Unreal Tournament III, Doom also I believe? now this...
This has to be a case of Bethesda demanding that Sony allow all mods without segregation, and Sony wanting to protect their platform from piracy by sorting them or something. Sony took all the flak, when it's probably just Bethesda acting like a whimsical...
1) On-stage demos ✓
They had Days gone, Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn and more
2) Specifics ✓
They published a sheet of paper with 4.2 TFLOPS written on it to all the press http://cdn2-www.playstation...

Same here. When standing side by side with the original PS4, I actually find the Pro looks even better:

It's just too bad the blue light doesn't run all around the console, and there isn't another one running also all around in the other "trench", but it would've consumed too much energy.
True. Plus, don't forget that Final Fantasy VII remake which they want to release in episodes. Square-Enix just wouldn't have time to release the whole game if the PS5 came out as early as 2018. Hitman may also not be finished by then. And we're still waiting for info about the development of the Resident Evil 2 remake too, so I don't see that one releasing in time for this gen of consoles either (if it's actually in development, that is) if this gen were to draw the cur...
Even if that's the case and MS allow it after it's republished under a different category, Nintendo will have it removed.
There goes one of the very few xbox exclusive IP away. Don't worry guys, you still have the next Forza the gears of halo!
I can't wait to see Infamous Second Son on the Pro. And Batman Arkham Knight. And Tearaway Unfolded. And also Until Dawn. Heck, even Assassin's Creed Unity should look incredible on it.
“This is the future. We’re removing the smudge from your glasses,” says Naughty Dog
We trust you on that, ND. Go!
Funny that you would say such a thing, because the Xbox One/One S/Scorpio can have all the features and power (for the latter) they want, they'll still be boring games-lacking consoles.
More than twice as powerful as the PS2, come on now, that is a stretch. But yes, power =/= commercial success, definitely.
MS know that, and they're very insecure. Otherwise they wouldn't have tweeted twice almost the same thing immediately after the PS4 Pro reveal to try and steal Sony's thunder. They're about to experience what it feels like to be over one year late to the party, like Sony was with the PS3 some 10 years ago.
I agree that this was the right move, but for a completely different reason: thanks to Sony's idea (though perhaps a bit forced due to new developments on the industrial side of things making this more economically sensible), Microsoft was also a bit forced to play catch up and come up with their own beefed up revision of hardware in order to try and one-up Sony, and the end result is that the next generation of consoles, when it comes to their computational power, will start at a level t...
